How to return to God after sinning?

We have no intention to encourage anyone to live a loose life. Our lesson here is to show how one who has sinned can be restored to God.

We will now look at the Old Testament type that illustrates restoration to God after one has sinned.

            Numbers 19 is a m...

God has given Jesus to us to be all things. This is a most important of understanding spiritual life. Is our experience mere experience or is it Christ? Is  our redemption merely redemption or is it Christ?

We can speak of the things of God and yet they may not be in Christ. We have many things that are not “in Christ.” This constitutes a formidable problem for Go...

While on Earth the Lord Jesus acknowledged Himself as Jehovah of the Old Testament: “except ye believe that I Am, ye shall die in your sins” (John 8:24). He told us He is the “I AM” (John 8:28); and again: “verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was born, I Am” (John 8:58). He clearly declared that He is Jehovah, and the Jews themselves clearly understood it, for it was because of this statement they took up stones to...

From the Book of 2 Samuel, the story of King David’s desire to show favor on a relative of his friend Jonathan.

Mephibosheth is the name of Jonathan’s son who was injures and left lame for life. 2 Samuel 9:1-13, this is the material that we will use to explain the teaching.

“And David said, is there any yet left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” (V-1)

Oh! How man misunderstands God! Because...

John 11:25
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection and the life.

John chapter 11 reveals how the Lord Jesus gave life to one already dead--in other words, how He raised the dead. He was able to raise the dead and He caused a dead man to be resurrected, but instead of saying "I raise the dead" He said "I am the resurrection." Shortly after He said this, He did indeed raise the dead. Both Mary and Martha were present that...

Following the words “I AM the way the truth”, the Lord continues with “and the Life.” We are mindful of the fact that life issues forth spontaneously in work, but work cannot be substitute for life. We ought to be crystal clear here that work is not life—for life is effortless, life is Christ Himself. How people toil to be Christians! How we are wearied through daily exertion. Most severe are these doctrines, for they demand u...

The Lord is not only the way, He also speaks of Himself as the truth. The truth does not refer to the words spoken about Christ; it is Christ Himself who is the truth. How often Christians take the teaching and the interpretations of Christ as truths, though in actuality is not the relating of a thing but is the person of Christ. “ye shall know the truth and the truth will set you free”’ says the Lord (John 8:32). Brothers and...

The word of Jesus is, “I am the way”. This way may also mean the method. What He here tries to convey to us is that He is the way by which we continue to God as well as the method by which to reach God. Having Him, we have the way; and possessing Him, we possess the method. Every true believer must learn this lesson at least once—that is, that the Lord Jesus is the way, the Lord Jesus is the method. If you have been...

There are three areas of anointing: the believers anointing, the ministerial anointing and the corporate anointing.

~The believers anointing is the anointing within the individual.
~The ministerial anointing is the anointing upon an individual.
~The corporate anointing is the anointing upon a gathering of believers.

The believer’s anointing is the primary anointing. By this all other manifestations of the anointing are measured.

We grow from faith to faith, from glory to glory, and from grace to grace (Rom. 1:17; 2 Cor. 3:18; John 1:16). What many believers don’t realize is that they can grow from anointing to anointing, or from one level of anointing to another.

The anointing is related to faith, glory and grace. If faith increases, the anointing we operate in will definitely increase also. We will pray...
