God's Recipe For Success

God’s Recipe For Success
God the Father being the ultimate leader has a plan of success for His children. This plan could be expressed as a sort of recipe; every recipe has a list of ingredients and are usually in a specific order.
•The ingredients are listed on the side of the package in order of importance and quantity.
•The recipe tells us how to mix the ingredients for the best outcome possible.
•If we follow the directions, in a couple of hours, we will be enjoying some fresh delicious hot bread.

Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV) || The Fruit of the Spirit of God
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such there is no law.

Here are the Father’s ingredients for a successful Christian life. Also note the order of their listing, I believe it is important to see that Love is listed first.

1 Corinthians 13 (NKJV)
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

With this scripture, God makes it very clear Love is the most important gift and ingredient in the recipe of our lives.

Matthew 22:37-40 (NKJV)

37 Jesus said to him, “‘you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 this is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

Last, But Not Yeast… Be The Fresh Loaf
The conclusion of this teaching is no matter how smart you are, what talents you have, or how good you are at something, if we are not chasing Love on a regular basis, we have missed the whole point of the cross.

Closing Prayer
Lord Jesus we ask for the Fruit of the Spirit to be released in us and that those ingredients would bring forth the Love You desire from us.
