What Do You Mean, You Do No Like Waiting in Line?
Hebrews 9:28 “So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.” Jesus dies on the cross for our salvation; this is the beginning of our journey. This is where our life started, at the cross, where the blood of Jesus ran on the ground. That is where you were born and took root. We are born out of His death. The journey is a life long endeavor with times of plenty and times of need. He is there waiting to help and direct you, always. James 5:7 “Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains.” The will of God takes its time. You will discover that God has all the time in the world. God’s promises and the things God says we can have do not usually go as we think. If your waiting for a promise of God to be revealed…. great. The best way to prepare for a promise of God is to not think about it. Keep busy at your Father’s business and if the wait is long, you wont have to deal with disappointment. Seek first the Kingdom of God and……….. Proverbs 3:5-8 “5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. 8 It will be health to your flesh, and strength to your bones.” Proverbs 3 tells us how to wait. Then, the scripture says to not think too much of yourselves or too little, but there are bonus blessings tied to this. While we wait on the Lord for many things, do what is right in His eye and you will be amazingly healthy. Revelation 3:10 “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.” The consequence of learning this is getting exempted from the final exam.
