Bitterness

Focus Bitterness

Date Wednesday, May 27th

Time 6 AM - 6 PM (or other 12 hour window)

Instructions You can fast however the Holy Spirit leads you, but please ask the Holy Spirit.

Context Dr. Tim Clinton says, “Resentment is anger with a history. And bitterness? A lot of people become bitter over life’s issues. It’s often said that when you’re dealing with hardship and hurt in your life, and great pain, you can either become bitter or you can become better. Challenge yourself always to let God do a work through you so you can become stronger and more effective.” Bitterness prevents you from being able to hear God’s still, small voice.

6 AM Prayer “Father, thank you for your Word and thank you for guiding our steps. We ask that You be a shield in our lives and prevent bitterness from entering our hearts. Thank you Lord for working in our lives and causing us to become better even in the midst of challenge and struggle. In Jesus' Name, Amen."

Pray Hebrews 12:15 over yourself and the church (NASB): "See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled”

Between 4 - 6 PM 1 hour of prayer and worship combined

Pray Hebrews 12:15 over yourself and the church (NASB): "See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled”

It is time to step out in Faith and share the Jesus we know!
